According to gov.uk’s Contracts Finder site, the University of Liverpool has opened its procurement process to agencies that can provide messaging, copywriting and PR services.
The brief relates directly to the UKSPF, a scheme launched in April 2022 as part of the UK Government’s Levelling Up agenda, which aims to provide £2.6bn of local investment funding across the UK by March 2025.
On its website, Liverpool City Region said it had been allocated £52.8m of the UKSPF budget, of which £8.4m will go towards a programme called Multiply, which is focused on improving numeracy skills of people across the UK and helping people achieve more GCSE-level qualifications.
The University of Liverpool plans to work with its chosen agency from 23 October 2023 until 1 March 2025.
The contract for the PR and copywriting brief will be worth between an estimated £50,000 and £100,000.
Interested applicants should contact [email protected] by 12pm on 11 September 2023.
