At WordPress.com, we’re always striving to make your web management experience as seamless as possible. Our latest update marks another significant step in that direction. Today, we’re happy to share a new unified dashboard where you can manage and view your sites and domains.
Whether you’re a blogger, a small business owner, or a developer, this interface was designed with your needs in mind.

Getting a bird’s-eye view of your WordPress.com sites has never been easier. With our new site management panel, your admin tools have been brought into one place. In addition to finding a comprehensive summary of your site’s plan and storage usage, you also have access to “Quick actions” like “Write post,” “See Jetpack Stats,” and more.
If your site is on a plugin-enabled Creator or Entrepreneur plan, there are tabs for developer-friendly tools like the latest GitHub deployments, server logs, staging sites, and additional server configuration settings.
This intuitive new dashboard serves as a convenient bridge between the global view of all your sites and individual site management within wp-admin.
When you reach the Domains page, you’ll see a list of all your domains that are registered with us, regardless of whether they’re connected to a WordPress.com site. In addition to quickly seeing each domain’s expiration date and status (“Active,” “Expiring soon,” etc.), you can easily access DNS records, contact information, and other settings.
When you land on the Plugins page, you’ll immediately find yourself at the built-in marketplace. From here, you can search for new plugins and then add them to one of your sites with ease. You can also manage and create schedules for updating your plugins rather than relying on manual updates.
For those of you with websites on plugin-enabled plans (Creator and Entrepreneur), you now have the option of seeing the classic wp-admin dashboard instead of the WordPress.com “My Home” page. This is especially useful for folks who utilize multiple WordPress hosts, often on behalf of clients, and want to have the same visual experience between every site. Or, perhaps you learned the ropes with that classic WordPress dashboard and don’t want to leave it behind.
To enable the wp-admin interface, visit “Settings” → “General” and then scroll down to the “Admin interface style” section. From there you can select “Classic” (wp-admin) or “Default.”

I have not liked the changes. They make me do many more steps for my day-to-day stuff. Like going to my blog and creating a post. The other thing I find annoying is that when i go to a site through the reader when I go back to the reader I am at the most recent instead of where I was in the list. It makes it very difficult to go through posts when I have been away for a few days.

The problem is that you have now made it take more clicks for people with a single site to get back to their site management from the reader. We used to be able to click on that W icon and go there. Now it’s to a single list of sites and if you click in the wrong spot you won’t go to the site management section either. I’d call this update a fail.

Hi, I try to start a website and to youse my domain, climatecare.ie, but I received an error massage that the domain is already mapped to a website. This is my domain. How it is possible. That means I have to change the provider of website, in word press i can not?

Help please, I constructed my WordPress site some years ago and now that I need to check the content I don´t remember the original email connected to it, I am able to enter with my user and password but then I run into problems for an email mismatched, can any one help me?

Thanks for reaching out to us. When you are signed in go https://wordpress.com/me/account/ On that screen you’ll find the email address and can make changes from there if necessary.

Hi I have five or six wordpress sites, but i can only access one of them, and have been unable to get any help to get back into the others. Obviously this new system would help me, but presumably I’d have to get back into the other sites to join them up. If anyone in wordpress cares about old customers – I today recieved an award for 12 years with you – I’d be grateful for some help/advice about how to restore my access!

I need assistance since I created the website. First, the title of the site automatically entered on the main page is not the design of the USPTO Trademark. How can that be changed? Second, WordPress has developed many changes over the years of which I have not taken advantage. Now I need assistance from my little change of my administration ability to upgrade or publish additional information. Third, how does the site get a reply, comment or subscriber? That information did not activate properly or I did not know how to activate it at the time. I and associate site manager need to be more active and current for readership interest. The site needs more engaging interaction. Even with the challenge of readership, when the site is known, the information is interested and generates interest in sharing and receiving more topics and information.
