Hello Wordfence team,
I just tried to find a setting to only (!) disable notification mails when Wordfence finds a plugin, theme or WP core update. I only found two possibilities to affect that, but both of them throw the baby out with the bathwater.
1.) “Scan Options and Scheduling”: Disable “Scan for out of date, abandoned, and vulnerable plugins, themes, and WordPress versions”
—-> But I do want to be notified when there are abandoned or vulnerable plugins/themes/WordPress versions. I just don’t want to get a mail everytime when there is an usual update available.
2.) “Wordfence Global Options” > “Email Alert Preferences”: Set “Alert me with scan results of this severity level or greater” to “high”, since update notifications mails are “medium”
—-> I suspect with this setting I loose many more notifications. But I just don’t want to get mails when there are usual updates available.
