It seems now obvious that that is the way your plugin names converted files, since you are using basically the same system as EWWW Image Optimizer, and they say they prefer that system as stated here, https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-change-the-webp-naming-rule/ However, it appears that your naming system is not respected generally and Cloudflare simply ignores it. AI search confirms this issue. Unfortunately, I have not received any support feedbacks from your plugin. I have decided to discontinue using your plugin and uninstalled it after deleting all your Webp and Retina versions of images, and they were basically taking up space and never fetched by browsers of Cloudflare for use. Perhaps I am wrong, but the only way for me to know that is if someone in your support cares to respond. If you ask AI for the properness of use of that naming system (appending .Webp to .jpg or doing the same for retina versions) you will find that it is highly discouraged.

Yes, when you generate thumbnails with a new format like my_file.png, it will become my_file.png.webp or my_file.png.avif. This is done to preserve the original media and all the original thumbnails; otherwise, it would replace your original file, which is not desired. It’s also designed to support fallback in case the format is not supported.
In the Perfect Images settings, make sure you have enabled delivery for the files, otherwise they will not be fetched and used on your website pages.

How to remove Meow Apps ?
Searching for Meow apps uninstall information is impossible.
I have gone around and around trying to remove this unwanted app but it does not exist in my server file manger.
Trying to find out how the meow plugin was even installed my website has been a huge rabbit hole and waste of time.
Please let me know how to completely remove this Meow Apps program.
